Welcome to the online home for the World Taekwon-Do Alliance. I am thoroughly excited about the WTA and its initiative to provide an international forum to proliferate Taekwon-Do across the globe.
Our united community of the legendary Taekwon-Do pioneers and rising martial artists is a relatively new endeavor that we intend to grow exponentially throughout the next few years.

About WTA
The World Taekwon-Do Alliance is an international community comprised of the legendary Taekwon-Do pioneers, instructors, and students from across the globe. The alliance intends to honor the legacy of the Taekwon-Do pioneers who relentlessly traveled around the world and sacrificed their personal and professional lives to promote the art that they believe will establish scrupulous, disciplined leaders for generations to come.
For years the Taekwon-Do art and discipline has been synonymous with an innate harmonious unity and moral rectitude that is inherent in its training individuals. However, ostensible leadership problems within the WTF and the passing of both Taekwon-Do founder General Choi and the President of the Global Taekwon-Do Federation Grand Master Park created a vacuum in the Taekwon-Do world.
Accordingly, the World Taekwon-Do Alliance, with the encouragement of the Taekwon-Do pioneers, has created a set of universally coherent initiatives to unite the many Taekwon-Do families and communities. Through the success of our unified initiatives, Taekwon-Do will become a part of a standard curriculum for physical education degrees in secondary schools and universities and will maintain its status as the most popular martial art in the world.
This will ensure that Taekwon-Do continues to positively shape our society and create a permanent imprint in the lives of countless individuals.
